Marilyn nods and sighs in relief, some weight had come off her shoulders.

Marilyn opens her mouth to speak, but then stops.

"I don't know."

She turns and looks at her front door.

Marilyn stands and walks towards the door. She takes a spare key out from under a faded flower pot with mostly dirt in it. She inserts the key and turns it with her right and, and gently held the door nob with her left, she hesitates to turn in, but does.
She pushes the door open and all the lights are off inside, and it seemed particularly cold.
She stop sand stares for a moment.

(Yeah, I know what you mean... I've been on these sites since I was 17, since we still played with Kristy and Vince and all the others. I still miss them sometimes, but I wish the best for them all. Do you have a Skype or an e-mail you'd be willing to give me, or a tumblr? I'd honestly rather not end this RP and it be like "thanks for playing, have a good life".)

Derek walks up and stands next to Marilyn, giving her the time she may need.

Derek takes her hand with a smile.

"I will, but maybe if I introduce you first it'll help. Lets go together."

He leads her towards the door, then outside, eventually making their ways back to the hotel.

(Time skip to a few weeks later? Have Marilyn setting up her room? May as well skip the "talking to Derek's parents" part since I'm going to have them say yes anyway. lol)

She looked around the open space. It was so different and she was nervous, but she was very grateful.
