The Cliff...

Derek moves down and starts kissing Marilyn's neck, testing his limits.

(lets time skip to the morning before it gets to intimate?)

Marilyn closes her eyes, she seemed to be enjoying it.

(Alrighty, that's fine.)
Derek's movements continue, until his mind becomes lost.

The following morning, Derek wakes up. He streaches and looks to his right and sees several article of his clothing on the floor. Near them were a couple articles he knew weren't his.

"Oh shit..."
He suddenly remembered what happened and being in a clear state of mind now, he doesn't know what to think of it.

Marilyn wakes up moments after. She opens her eyes and looks over at Derek, he didn't have the best expression on his face.

Oh no...

She was hoping that she had dreamed it, but unfortunately in wasn't so. She brought her hands up over her face stressfully.

"... I'm sorry, it's my fault..."

Marilyn didn't speak for a long moment.

"....I should go.."

Derek felt unsure on if he should stop Marilyn or not.

Marilyn hastily gathered all if her things, there weren't any words to describe how she was feeling at that very moment.

Derek stays in the bed.
"Where are you going to go?"

Marilyn shrugs, not bothering to look at Derek and head towards the door.

"Marilyn..." Derek mumbles to himself.
He sighs.

When Marilyn steps out the door, she quickly walks down the hall to the elevator. Her walking turns into a light jog. The elevator is opening as she gets there, as she hurried in, she bumped into someone.

"Sorry." she said lifelessly.

The person left the elevator, and she went in, pressing the button for the first floor. She quickly leaves whenever the elevator gets there, when she finally gets outside, she sighs heavily, picks a direction to go, and walks that way.

She felt dirty, and didnt even know where she was off to.

Derek stands at the foot of the bed.
"What was I thinking? What were we doing? Dammit..."
He goes to the window and looks down. He spots Marilyn, walking away down the street. Derek frowned.
"No, not again."
He throws on his shirt and jeans and goes out the door, making his way down to the entrance and goes in the same direction as Marilyn went.9/8

The steet soon became busy, people were walking up and down the side walk going to wherever it was they needed to go. And then, there was Marilyn. She was seemingly lifeless, and he face was full of shame, people bumped into her, and she still didn't seem to pay attention.

Derek moves trough the grwing crowds looking for Marilyn. She is somewhere, and he is going to find her.

Marilyn continues. She stops once she noticed the concrete sidewalk turned into asphalt, she had almost walked into on coming traffic. She stands and waits for the cars to come to a stop, so ahe could cross.

Derek looks around more for Marilyn. With all the people it is hard to see where she might be. He looks down alleyways and across roads, at every girl that has dark hair. No luck.
No, I can't give up this time.

As Marilyn stood there among the people waiting to get to the other side if the road, she realized that she didn't even know where she was going.

Home I guess...

She nudged her way out of the crowd. She tried to remember where the bus stop was, and when she did, she headed that direction.

Derek thinks of where Marilyn might go.
Her job? Wander? Her house?
He figures he may as well go for the most obvious first and see. He thinks back to where her house is and looks for a bus or nearby taxi.

Marilyn had caught the bus just before it was going to leave, she thanks the bus driver for waiting a little longer. The bus was crowded but she managed to find an isloated seat near the back.
The bus ride was a long one, but Marilyn eventually go back to her town. She got off at a stop she recognized, and decided to walk the rest of the way.

Unable to find an empty taxi and missing the bus, Derek follows the streets he remembers, still hoping he is making the right choice in turns. He keeps an eye out for bus stops until he sees one and heads for it. He boards and sees the routes.

In Marilyn's small town, she was bound to see some people she knew as she walked home, and no doubt they did.
"Hey Marilyn!"
"Hey.."
"Sorry about your loss, Marilyn."
"..."
"How are you feeling Marilyn?"
"I've been better..."
As she breifly adressed to the people that greeting her, she never stopped her pace, and no one seemed to pry into it. When Marilyn's mother was mentioned, a thousand boulders dropped on her heart.
Before she knew it, she was standing in front of her gravel drive way, staring at her house.

Derek sits on the bus and waits, and waits, and waits. Not living here he is unsure of what station goes where and what the bus routes are. He just waits on the bus until things started to look familiar. When they did, he started thinking on what he should say to Marilyn when he finds her.

I feel like she's still here... she thought as she looked at her home.
she probably hates me.

Marilyn considered walking away, but she decided to sit on her porch like she use to, it's where she always was when she was upset.
