Marilyn reaches for one of the pillows on the bed, and throws it at Derek for no apparent reason.

She smiles at him afterwords.

Derek chuckles.

"Is that how it is going to be? Very well, then."

He picks up and throws the pillow back at Marilyn.

Marilyn catches it before it could hit her and quickly throws it back, laughing.

Derek lets it fall after it hits him again.

"You've got good reflexes."

(I'm kind of stuck on what they should do. All the romantic comedies I've seen tell me they'd end up sleeping together, but I'm not so sure about that.)

Derek moves close to Marilyn and puts his arms around her, looking into her eyes.

Marilyn bites her lip, blushing of course, and looks back into Derek's eyes.

Derek moves in slowly and kisses Marilyn, passionatly.

The warmth that came upon Marilyn's face from her blushing spread all through out her.

Yes, Derek and her have kissed before, but not like this.

She closes her eyes and enjoys the moment for as long as it lasts.

Derek leans deeper into the kiss, not releasing for several more moments.

He takes his breath and then kisses Marilyn again.

Marilyn found the kissing getting more intense, and she seemed to be enjoying it. She brough her arms over Derek's shoulders and around his neck.

Derek takes Marilyn's moments as a sign of acceptance.

He pulls back and takes a breath and smiles as he looks back into her eyes.

"...wow." she says softly, smiling.

In the moment of reprise Derek's mind wanders towards another idea to keep this moment going, but he does not know what to say or if he should even mention it. He does not want to take advantage of the girl in front of him.
A few words do form, however.
"I love you, Marilyn."

Did it make sense to love the guy she met through a game of truth or dare on a game show? Who made her upset enough to make the bad decision to smoke?

When Derek hears the words he smiles, then kisses Marilyn again. He falls forward and finds himself looking down at Marilyn. He smiles again.
