The Cliff...

Trevor scoffs.

"It was obvious you had a thing for Marilyn. But c'mon your a big boy. Jealously is something for the little kids." He says with a smirk.

This is bad...this is very bad...

"What, and let some random dickhead come and steal her away?"

"If I do recall correctly...we've only spoken once. How do you possibly know what kind of guy I am?"

He sighs and shakes his head.

"There are plenty of other girls out there for you. I just happened to grab this one first." he said with a smirk.

Derek grinds his teeth.

"You're wrong about that."

"You seem to already think she's your's."

Derek grunts. He glances at Marilyn, looking for her expression. He's angry that she didn't jump to his side.

"She's already with me."

Trevor sighs, not convinced.

He looks over at Marilyn. And stated the question clearly.

"Are you and Derek together?"

Marilyn hesitated.
He must not trust me if he had to spy on me...

It mightve been because she was angry, but the word that came out of her mouth was...

"No.."

Derek feels his heart drop at that single word.

No...?

His teeth grind. He turns around.

"Go to Hell."

With those words, he walks away, breathing heavily.

Marilyn was feeling multiple emotions at once. Angry was a big one, she thought Derek trusted her. The fact that Derek was spying made her furious, yet very sad and upset; it almost mad her want to cry. She was confused as to what to do now.

I think I just broke up with my boyfriend.

"Crazy how he thought you guys were going out huh?"

"Yeah...I can't believe I was friends with him."

At the moment, Marilyn didn't want to see Derek's face again. Idiot...you didn't know what you were getting into decided to ask me out...

"I'm sorry he sort of ruined or little date here."

Marilyn sighs. "That's okay...you can make up or it tomorrow, kay?" Feeling rebellious, Marilyn's anger made her only want to make Derek angry by sticking around Trevor.

She winked at him, and walked towards the girls cabin with a ball in her throat.

"Sweet."

Derek lets out his frustration and anger as he walked.

"Stupid little bitch! Cocky bastard! What the hell is she thinking! How could she do that?!"

He stops before collapsing onto the ground.

"... How could she do that...?"

Marilyn, with multiple thoughts going through he head, walks into the girls cabin and slams the door.
No one was in there.

She sits on her bunk, puts her pillow over her face and screams.

Seconds later she starts crying.

She lies down, and thinks things through.

Derek looks up into the sky, watching the clouds float by.

"What did I do? What didn't I do? What should I have done...?"

After being alone for a while, Marilyn's dominating feeling was angry.

Unexpectedly, Trevor comes to the cabin. He knocks on the door.

"Marilyn?"

"Yeah..?" she said try to sound as of she wasn't crying, but failed miserably.


Trevor heard this and let himself inside. "Are you alright..?"

"I'm not really in the mood to talk right now..."

Derek stands and starts walking again.

"I should have waited, seen what her reaction to Trevor was... Dammit."

If there's one thing Trevor didn't like, it'd be seeing a girl cry.

He sat beside her, "I know he was a good friend of yours...and I'm really sorry it turned out this way.

Marilyn sits up and wipes her face.

"I'm over it..."

Trevor chuckles lightly. "Your obviously not." he said as he wiped a tear from her eye. "We'll just take it easy until you feel better."

Marilyn half smiled unsurely.

Trevor takes out a pack of cigarettes, "You mind?"

Marilyn pauses, and thinks about her mom. She softly shook her head.

"Give me one too." she said.

(figured I'd include Marilyn's secret since we aren't doing TDI anymore.)

(In that case, I'll try to include Derek's original secret, though since I can't fully remember it might be a little different.)

Derek walks back to there the conflict occured. It was empty, as he figured it'd be.

"Crap..."

He sighs.

"I want to claim this as my fault, but... but she was the one who still wanted to be around that guy despite his obvious advances. Couldn't she see that guy had some sort of cocky ego? I'm not letting this go. No... I'm not losing someone that easily. Not like last time."

Trevor hands Marilyn a cigarette.

He lights it for her. Then took out another and lit it himself.

As Marilyn inhaled it felt like a big release. She sighs, relieved.

Trevor laughs lightly. "I didn't know you smoked. You look like you really needed it though."

"I don't usually smoke cigarettes.."

"Oh yeah?"

Marilyn takes another puff and blows out the smoke before answering. "There's something else in particular I like smoking."

Trevor smirks, knowing exactly what she's talking about. "Well look at you, you're more hardcore than I thought"

Marilyn was oblivious to the fact she was turning into her old self again.

(Should I have Derek go to the cabin?)

Derek wanders near the cabin area. His conflict of emotion tearing him up.

I can feel the ulcer growing... He attempts to joke to himself.

(Sure why not?)

"You have any?" she asked.

"Yeah. I'll be right back." he says as he leaves the cabin.

Marilyn sat by herself.

I guess this is what it's come to...

She exhales, blowing another swirl of smoke into the air.

"Fine by me.." she said to herself.

"Screw it..."

Derek musters up the courage to walk to the cabin. By then Trevor was out of earshot.

Derek opens the door, not bother to knock or ask to come in. He smells the smoke in the air and his eyes quickly see what is in Marilyn's hand.

"Those will kill you, you know."

Marilyn pauses, deciding whether or not to say something.

"What do you care?"

"I care because I don't want you to die."

Derek gathers his thoughts.

"And it obviously isn't your first time. What are you trying to do?"

"What I do, is none of your concern."

She said, obviously still angry about earlier.
